Yesterday's Work

This most of what I was working on yesterday,which I forgot we had to post.

iPad response

Yes,I think that the iPad will inspire a new class of computer. It won't be anytime soon,but within a few years, more copies of what was originally the iPad will be made. Hopefully, the competition sparks better technology, because touch screens can still be a little inaccurate, as well as dirty, not to mention that you generally have to buy an entire new computer system instead of just the touch pad screen itself.



Anyway,I think it will inspire a new class of computer because it's very versatile. It makes reading books easy,so textbooks will be a thing of the past thank goodness,since holding a 1.5 lb mini computer that can do more than hold text,is a lot better than holding a 10 lb English book,which suprisingly only holds English literature. It also makes drawing easy,since mice are very coordinate based,pixel by pixel. The iPad is also very very small,compared to the big tank computers we have at school.


I do see future problems though,with the iPad's versatility being abused. Students playing very uneducational games during class time,reading unrelated books during class time,drawing during class time-which at least wouldn't waste notebook paper,among other things.They're going to have to monitor iPad screens,kind of like they do now with our tank computers,though I'm sure there's probably an app for that too.
